You cannot put the CSO/CISO underneath the CIO if you expect them to be responsible for physical and personnel security.

Working for the CIO is the kiss of death because you&#039;re a cost center inside a cost center.  It&#039;s a phenomenal way to watch the security budget dwindle down to nothing.</description>
